White shoes for fall showed up all across the Fashion Week schedule. From Rhude to Off-White – white heels, boots, and some out-there kicks are walking into Fall/Winter 2022.
So as far as we know fashion no longer has a season. It may have started from the UGG boot craze sporting shearling boots in 90+ degree weather in Los Angeles. Or it may have gained its current traction with almost everyone, including their Grandma, wearing Crocs with socks in the winter. Or it could very well be that consumers have adapted to the see now, buy now, wear now retail concept fueled by international online shopping. Or possibly, the global pandemic that drove shipment delays and threw fashion into a conflicting seasonal identity crisis. Whichever theory you come up with, the runways this year are looking pretty much like anything goes.
White shoes (and their hue counterparts ie: cream, off-white, ecru, etc.) sales are off the charts. You can check any fashion shoppe and find this color option in full force. For F/W 2022, designers are further driving the trend showing off how to wear the new “hot” color with any cool look.
